System Engineering
The successful development of complex real time systems depends on engineers who can pull on their experience from previous projects and their knowledge and implementation of process models and standards including Automotive SPICE, ISO26262 and RTCA DO-178B/C.
From concept to deployment, the success of any system depends entirely on the solid foundation created by requirements elicitation, analysis, and model-based design/architecture at the system level. These activities serve to identify the ideal allocation of functions, in terms of performance and cost, to hardware and software components within the System of Interest, as well as the interfaces between them.
Requirements based verification and System Integration and Test completes the classic V-Model activities at system level.
Systems Engineering also provides the framework for Functional Safety and Cyber Security analysis. The results of such analysis are integrated into the system design and ultimately lead to an optimal balance of system safety and availability for the end-user.
The technical activities are complemented by good Project Management including Planning, Change, Risk and Defect Management.
